The Arab International Aluminum Conference (ARABAL) was launched in 1983 in Kuwait, by an individual initiative of Mr. Mohammed Al Naki for the aim of establishing greater collaboration between leaders in the Arab aluminium industry, strengthening ties and addressing key challenges in the institutional framework on the regional and international level. ARABAL is the premier event for the Middle East’s Aluminium industry and the only conference in the world attended by every single primary aluminium manufacturer in the region, which makes the conference of choice for anyone interested in the Arab Aluminium industry.
The first ARABAL conference adopted the resolution of setting a permanent ARABAL secretariat office in Kuwait, appointing Mr. Mohammed Al Naki as a Chairman, and promised its continuity for the development of Aluminium industry in the Arab world. The objective of ARABAL is to create a platform for cooperation among companies and authorities engaged in the Aluminium industry in the Arab region, and to enhance international networking in the industry.
