The Arab International Aluminium Conference (ARABAL) is the premium platform for the aluminium industries in the Arab world. It is hosted on rotation basis by the primary aluminium manufacturers in the region, who collectively produced 5,229,115 tonnes of aluminium in 2016.

Sohar Aluminium is the proud host of the 21st ARABAL Conference, taking place from Monday 6th to Thursday 9th November 2017, in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

This year’s conference agenda is structured to focus on the “Driving Strategic Growth across the Global Aluminium Industry”.

ARABAL comprises a strategic conference focusing on the current industry prospects and challenges, a site tour to Sohar Aluminium smelter, an international exhibition and various other workshops, meetings, and entertainment activities.

Since it’s inauguration in 1981 ARABAL has become an event of international repute, bringing together industry leaders from around the world to discuss current issues as well as explore businesses and investment opportunities in the region.

Today ARABAL sees the participation of more than 500 top executives who attend its conference, and thousands who visit its exhibition.

Professionals from a broad spectrum within the international aluminium industry will give a series of presentations, panel discussions and case studies during the two-day conference. This year’s theme is “Driving Strategic Growth across the Global Aluminium Industry”.

Delegates will gain insight on the industrial development, technical innovations, opportunities in the region, global economic trends, market price outlook, prospects of the aluminium industry supply and demand, trade and exports. Delegates will also get the chance to network with more than 500 delegates from around the globe who will be in attendance at this two-day conference, and meet major investors, executives and key decision makers in the Gulf and Middle East region.

An exhibition will be held at the venue by key investors, major suppliers, and manufacturers from the international aluminium industry. The ARABAL exhibition is usually visited by thousands of professionals from the region and industry global players.

The ARABAL Exhibition will be inaugurated during the opening ceremony of the conference, followed by a VIP tour for the Chief Guest, high ranking officials, partners and sponsors at the exhibition venue. The event will receive extensive media attention in local, regional and international media.
